1960s Patek Philippe ladies wristwatch
$11,000.00
I love being able to buy inscribed pieces. The first feeling I get when I find an inscribed piece is the love and thought that went into the item. This is just an extra step that the original purchaser didn't have to make but wanted to show someone how special and loved they were. Second, if a person's name is unique enough you can find information about them. The owner of this watch was on the board of the Children's Hospital of Denver, she was actively involved in animal charities, and seemed to be an all-around great lady. All of that aside, she also had excellent taste, because this amazing Patek Philippe has an incredible look, a larger face than you find in mid-century watches, and is in excellent condition. Not only does it keep time for the day, I have wound this and the time has kept for two days which only happens with items that have almost never been worn. This must've been Helen's special occasions watch.
Made in 18 karat gold, this genuine Patek Philippe was gifted on December 25, 1963, To Helen Rippey of Denver. The face of the Watch is 21 mm, it weighs 45 g, it is 7 inches long but has some adjustment to it so it can be adjusted to 7.5"
