Finally I have a Victorian moonstone necklace that is in such excellent condition that I am starting to believe that it’s never been worn.

This original Victorian necklace (French hallmarked circa 1838) is set in 22 to 24 karat gold and topped in silver. All of the moonstones and Akoya pearls are in excellent condition with no surface versions whatsoever. There’s excellent blue and pink sheen on the moonstones and pink overtones on each of the pearls. it even has its original class. It just couldn’t be more charming. It is 16 inches long, the moonstone and pearl part of the necklace is 7 inches long, it weighs over 30 g
