Antique old European cut and old mine cut diamond three stone

There’s nothing that tops a really good antique three-stone ring. Especially one with perfect proportions like this one. But this isn’t your average antique diamond three-stone ring, because there’s a slight difference in cut between the center and the sidestones, making it a bit of a different twist. so let’s talk about the diamonds. First and foremost, all of these diamonds are true antiques. Second, the center diamond has ideal old European cut faceting. It is 2.4 carats and is approximately ST color and VS clarity. As I said, the faceting is the perfect almost hearts and arrows cut that newly cut stones aspire to, but this is a true antique. The side diamonds are .75 each, approximately, though they may be a bit bigger because they have high crowns, and they are old mine cut. Very well matching old mine cuts at that. They are white, approximately J, and I would call their color SI1, but only out of abundance of caution because I’m not seeing much on the inside to raise any concerns, but we know how GIA can be. It’s set in 14 karat yellow gold and looks to be a vintage setting as opposed to a newly made setting.
