4.28 K/VS2 antique pear cut diamond ring in 18k/platinum Gilded Lane design

Like I always do, I’m gonna focus on the diamond first. This is an ideally cut fat (and phat) antique pear cut diamond. It has been polished slightly, but it is true antique. It is absolutely stunning and the more I wear it the more I love it. You’re definitely not gonna have any kind of diamond shrinkage syndrome with this one, because it is 4.28 carat, K, VS2, and measures 13.4 x 9.36 x 5.46. It is very white, and has beautiful faceting. The sparkle is unreal and looks great from every angle. Now let’s talk about the setting shall we? Made in 18 K and platinum, This is one of my designs. It’s a take on a design I’ve used for movals diamonds, but I chose to make the lines point at the diamond and made the open metal work more apparent giving it a very Art Deco flare, but also giving me a little bit of the look of the pin that pilots wear, which would make sense because Art Deco inspiration was drawn from aeronautics. The .37 ctw of diamonds melee really makes it pop. I’ll just say that, I am very proud of this ring and I think that it showcases the diamond perfectly, especially with the platinum colete emphasizing how white the diamond is. The entire ring measures 14.7 x 17.9, it sits 5.9 mm off the finger, it weighs 6.5 g, it is a size 6, sizable
