Victorian era black opal and old European cut diamond ring

Victorian black opal, solid, with beautiful greens blues and oranges. The color on this opal is amazing and has the fantastic flashes that are most desirable in black opals. What sets this ring apart from most is that the old European cut diamond halo has multi color diamonds. There is definitely some fluorescence at play, but these diamonds are gold, orange, there's some greenish colors in there, and they're all very clean. It's such a cool and unique look, and I wish it happened more often because it's really quite fabulous. Its shank is 18 karat and the prongs holding the diamonds are silver, with 18 karat prongs holding the opal.
